EWS 64 and AKAI ?

I have read once in a magazine that in the
beginning Terratec was able to offer Akai sound library compatibility.
Is possible to use and import sounds from that excellent sampler to be used in the EWS 64 XL or it is just a dream? Did anybody check that?
Do you have some information about akai compatibility or Could somebody recommend a
good Terratec sound library to buy ? Where?

Akai support is working a bit with the latest beta of Ed!Son.
That one only has the problem that there is no setmanager that will load the larger sample sets.

With the program Cdxtract 3.0
you can converse the Akai sample's into Soundfont format,
This works excellent

Does ed son crash when you load an akai sound ?

Ed?son works only loading a few samples, but can not recognize the programming of each part and, in many cases, the split data is lost.
For me, is better to obtain the waveforms (.wav) with another program, load and program completely the sounds, but is too much work, isn't it?
